Susannah and I decided to climb the first peak of the Chief since I had never done it before.  So climb it we did.

We took my dog Koko and my sister's dog Tika.

It was a beautiful sunny day, and up we go.  I did not take a lot of pictures this trip, just some.  Getting used to the fancy hand me down camera from my sister.

We stopped about half way up for a big breather (had a few little ones one one way).

The view was lovely.

After the break, we got to the top and enjoyed the beautiful view while having a snack.  The top was full of people, all just hanging out enjoying the peace.

Took a little more time on the way down for pictures. Mostly I turned around and took pictures of the way we came.

And who can forget one of the ladders I had to haul the dogs up...

At the beginning and at the end of the hike is Shannon Falls.

Overall, a beautiful day.  Sunny out, lots of trees for shade, a lovely view - and tired puppies at the end.

Once I get the photos cleaned up, I will have them posted in a Public Album.
